After building a following through SoundCloud releases and his early single "Fuseg", Lucasraps broke into the mainstream through his standout appearance on Dr Peppa's "What It Is" alongside the late Riky Rick, followed by hit collaborations with Blxckie including "Big Time Sh'lappa". His debut album 031 To The World and its sequel 031 To The World 2 cemented his reputation for razor-sharp lyricism, Durban-rooted storytelling, and a distinctly South African take on modern trap and drill.
