Lucas Nkosinathi Sithole, known professionally as Lucasraps, is a South African rapper, songwriter, and cultural voice from Durban (031). Born on 10 August 1998 in Cape Town and raised in KwaZulu-Natal, he emerged as one of the defining figures of the new-wave SA Hip-Hop movement in the late 2010s.
After building a following through SoundCloud releases and his early single "Fuseg", Lucasraps broke into the mainstream through his standout appearance on Dr Peppa's "What It Is" alongside the late Riky Rick, followed by hit collaborations with Blxckie including "Big Time Sh'lappa".
